DARRY 

Darry was a very dad-like character. He cared very much for his friends. Darry dropped all of his chances to take care of Ponyboy and Sodapop. Darry couldn't understand Ponyboy and because of that they didn't get along. Working very hard is what Darry had to do to be able to keep his brothers at home with him. He wanted to protect and provide for his brothers as much as he could.
